Nikita holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Wellesley College and is a certified EMT with a strong interest in mental health care. She has long been interested in emerging treatments for depression and previously interned at the UCLA Brain Mapping Center, where she was first exposed to transcranial magnetic stimulation. She has also worked as a personal trainer, motivated by the role of exercise in supporting neuroplasticity and mental well-being. In addition, she volunteers as a crisis counselor with the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, supporting individuals in acute distress. She is currently completing pre-nursing coursework and plans to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
