Jay Jung, PMHNP

Jay Jung, PMHNP
Nurse Practitioner

Jay graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2018 and furthered their education by attending the University of Illinois Chicago’s Physical Therapy program. Through personal experiences, Jay developed a deep understanding of the profound impact mental health has on overall well-being. This realization inspired a career shift towards psychiatric care, leading to Jay’s current role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Jay’s approach to mental health care is holistic and integrative, recognizing that while conventional medicine is effective at addressing immediate symptoms, uncovering the root cause of dysfunction is essential for long-term healing. Jay is passionate about alternative and emerging treatment modalities, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine therapy, and Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys staying active and engaged, whether playing tennis, relaxing in a sauna, or exploring the world of FPV drone flying.
